     “It was a tragic murder. There’s no doubt about it. Everybody was talking about the little girl. There was pictures of the composite on telephone poles and it was on the news every minute, and my wife was sitting on my lap and we were watching the news together and the composite sketch comes up. And she turned around and looked at me and it was like… I said,‘Whatare you looking at me for?’

     And she said,”Wellit does look like you a little bit.”

     整個鎮都在談論那個案子，那個讓人血液凝結的慘劇。

     整個鎮的話題跟關注都圍繞著那個可憐的小女孩、那個不忍卒睹的現場、那個分分秒秒都出現在電線桿上和電視畫面中的嫌犯速寫。

     電視上的速寫失焦。「你在看什麼？」我的目光聚焦到跨坐在我腿上的妻子，她轉頭看我的眼光並不清澈。
